Cultivate outcomes

The power of initial conditions

Outcomes in life are byproducts of their originating environments.

Rather than chasing or forcing outcomes in isolation, it’s more powerful to cultivate the initial conditions from which they will naturally arise.

Just as a tree requires the proper nutrients, water, sunlight, and timely pruning to bear fruit, our lives need specific conditions for attributes like clarity, peace, discipline, focus, or creativity to emerge.

When balance proves elusive and desired outcomes become challenging to maintain or slip out of reach entirely, look below the surface.

Something more fundamental is likely out of sync.
